Air Quality Monitor-LED display indicates the level of airborne particles passing through the sensor. Filter Check Function has LED lamps that let you know when it''s time to change the HEPA and deodorizing filter. Helps maximize performance. Quiet Operation is made possible by the specially designed fan, motor and related parts. HEPA Filter-removes 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns or larger at only Hi, Med and Low speed. Deodorizing Filter-specially treated, activated charcoal makes the deodorizing filter ideal for removing unpleasant odors such as cigarette smoke from the air. Suitable for up to a 16'' x 20'' room (200CADR: Based on AHAM chart) Slim 6 5/8" Wide Design allows the air purifier to fit conveniently and unobtrusively into just about any room. Description: Micro Dust Sensor Room air can be full of tiny pollen, dust, smoke and other particles too small to see. The micro dust sensor is a smart sensing device which uses a sophisticated optical system to detect these particles and automatically adjust the fan setting for the optimum speed for filtering them out of the air passing through the air purifier. Note: A number of factors influence the number of airborne particles in a room, including: residence design and construction; the type, number and condition of window and door openings; the volume of traffic in and out of the room; pets, furniture and local climatic and geographic conditions. Also note that, in general, the amount of airborne pollen in a room is very small, and therefore may not be detected by the sensor. Auto Start/Stop and LED Air Quality Monitor With the press of a button this Panasonic air purifier can be set to filter automatically. The illuminated red LED lights on the Air Quality Monitor indicate the amount of airborne particles passing through the filter. The greater the number of LED lights, the greater the number of particles detected. In automatic mode, the air purifier will adjust the fan speed for optimal air purification.
